Wiesinger Release New Album Stuck In Your Head & Music Video For Sitcom
“We are a generation of escape artists. We escape to watch movies and tv to avoid the pain of our existence. I think there’s something so saddening about that. We need to wake up and start truly living.
I love thrifting. I usually buy a handful of old DVDs when I visit the local thrift shop. I rationalize these purchases that it only costs a buck or two. But the real cost is the time I waste when I could be making an impact or doing something productive with my time!
Sometimes life feels like a “Sitcom.” Minus the audience laugh tracks. This song is super tongue in cheek silly, but I think it has a humanity and a certain depth to it that can make you, the listener, squirm and really think deeply about your own life.”
I knew I wanted to create a brilliant and inspiring work of art once I conquered my bipolar disorder and got things in a healthy headspace. I wrote some of the songs on our new album, Stuck in Your Head, in the middle of challenging mental health battles from years ago. Some of them are recent and a reflection of where I’m at now. A few of the songs speak to things I’m still going through, that call for real connection and community with others. I want to inspire you to get a positive message stuck in your head instead of those lingering self-loathing thoughts.
About Wiesinger
WIESINGER is lead by Justin Wiesinger: a Canadian award-winning author, videographer, business owner, and overall wildly ambitious and energetic creative. The story of how he met his percussionist wife Chelsey is a perfect example of what can happen when a person shows up and anticipates good things, and together they love creating experiences that change other people’s lives too.
Justin and Chelsey are the heart of the band WIESINGER, but you’ll often see other bandmembers including Daniel & Bethany Ann (of Sauvage Plain) on electric guitar and backup vocals. WIESINGER loves to synergize and collaborate with other talented artists in production and performances. They are working hard to build a community with their inspiring wholesome music, insanely catchy hooks, and upbeat energetic presence.
It’s family friendly pop music for fun people. If you aren’t smiling ear to ear with hands and feet sore from clapping and dancing, you probably missed out on the latest WIESINGER show. . . or are just not a fun person.
