On the heels of their chart-topping track “GONE, GONE, GONE,” Autumn Kings have announced a brand new album: Epiphanies. The announcement arrives in tandem with a brand new song “Become Numb,” out now. The record, a bold display of the band’s writing capabilities, propels them to new heights, showcasing their explosive rise to the top. Also on the record, which arrives this fall, are previous releases like “Hellbound” and “Sleep When I’m Dead” (which both soared into the Top 20 on the Active Rock charts). Autumn Kings continue to prove they’re a force to be reckoned with in modern rock and this fresh chapter marks an important milestone for the duo’s swift rise to stardom. With that thrilling announcement comes our latest single, “BECOME NUMB”.
Become Numb speaks to the feeling of being trapped in your own mind. Experiencing the weight of intrusive thoughts and feeling like there’s no way out of the downward spiral that’s taken hold of you. Like you’ve been thrown you into the middle of a cornfield with no idea of which direction to go.
Unlike most of the songs on this record, we didn’t flip the script into a heroic exercise of individual sovereignty to break the chains of despair. Instead we just sat with the feeling of being entangled, stuck.
We tend to lean introspective with our lyrics, and the punchline of the song is, “the fear of letting go; it’s got me coming undone”.
I believe we are usually able to instinctively identify how we feel and why we feel the way we do. But how to get out of that whirlwind is the most difficult thing. It’s like knowing you need to have a hard conversation with someone, but struggling to find the inner strength to actually do it – that’s the hard part.
Musically, we almost went anti-climactic on the chorus, taking inspiration from Arctic Monkeys, one of our favorite bands. You’ll hear funk, rap, rock, metal, and ska, and world music all fused into one with this song…. Yet it is still fundamentally a rock song. This might be our favorite song of the record.”

ABOUT AUTUMN KINGS:
Pop-rock band Autumn Kings, who have been steadily buzzing for the past year and with over 50 million streams and counting, have landed a brand new label home. The trio, known for crafting unforgettably hooky anthems, has officially signed to Hopeless Records, and will commence working on material imminently. They have also seen their previously-released tracks “Sleep When I’m Dead” and “Hellbound” steadily climb the rock radio charts. Both tracks have garnered airplay on SiriusXM’s Octane, among others. “We are so excited to officially sign a record deal with Hopeless Records,” the band says. “We’ve admired the label’s fierce independent spirit for over a decade and they helped give careers to some of our favorite bands who changed our lives and inspired us to do music.” But that’s not all. Autumn Kings have had their music played on Football Night In America; at Detroit Red Wings games; in Major League Baseball stadiums; and on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. They spent the summer of 2023 touring South Korean, American, and Japanese military bases and have opened for Bush, Dorothy, Tea Party, X Ambassadors, and Mutemath. Most recently, the band was named one of LOUDWIRE’S artists to watch in 2025.
