Blue Flame by Yung Heat

Yung Heat is a Jamaican-Canadian recording artist from Ottawa Ontario. I’m digging his use of electronic synths mixed with hip hop and even some notes of R&B. The artist recently dropped a very cool little single called fog, worth a listen for sure. His new track is out today, so it’s super fresh, it features Eros North and City Fidelia and it’s called Blue Flame.

Up next Crystal McGrath. McGrath is a Country music singer/songwriter from Calgary Alberta. McGrath is an incredibly hard working creator. Love You Madly by Daniel Mangan

Daniel Mangan is a Juno award winning Canadian indie artist from Vancouver British Columbia. Mangan is an artist that grows significantly with each album and his new album isn’t an exception. Thief is out now on arts and crafts records and it’s a great album end-to-end and in the true style of 2020 it includes some covers that are not only beautifully done but dripping with nostalgia. Before we get into Mangan’s new stuff I want to encourage you to go listen to Road Regrets from his album Nice Nuce Very Nice. After the show after the show in the meantime I’ve listened to Mangan’s new album Thief through a couple of times now and it took a lot of soul searching to decide exactly what to play. There’s some really great songs on this album but I ultimately had to choose a cover that I thought wasm… well it’s a cover, and it’s just great.
