GWAR
Heavy metals “GWAR” took to the stage at the Bronson Centre with a spectacular blood soaked demon extravaganza show. The Berserker Blothar singing lead and setting the tone for an all out blood assault and carnage! Nobody was safe as the fans fist pumped to each song and relishing in the occasional blood soaking. This is theatrical Shock Rock Heavy Metal at it’s finest, with hard core fans wearing blood soaked clothes like a badge of honour. They never let up with heart pounding bass and drums, opening with Battle-Lust and closing with F-This Place. GWAR came and conquered Ottawa!
X-COPS
Opening the show was X-Cops. Comprised of members from headliner, GWAR, X-Cops was formed after filming GWAR’s “Scarface” video, when GWAR’s members and crew decided “what would be cooler than a bunch of cops playing kick ass rock and roll”.
CANCER BATS
Toronto based, Cancer Bats, provided support on the Canadian tour with their hard core punk metal sound. The Juno nominated “Cancer Bats” have resumed touring following the departure of founding member Scott Middleton in 2021.
About The Photo Roadies
The Photo Roadies is a freelance co-operative or network of photographers ready to publicize and promote local live music and entertainment oriented events – representing the venue, the entertainer, or that concert presentation or annual fair event that wants quality content for memories and social media. The Roadies launched in July/2022 and are currently active in central and eastern Ontario from Ottawa to Oshawa, Peterborough to Prince Edward County and points in between. Our criteria for shooting locations in most occasions is less than one hour from our photographer’s home location but exceptions can be made. We prefer to focus on recording artists on tour, high quality tribute shows, and rising stars with something to promote.
