Cityfolk Festival Day Feat Hawksley Workman, Pater and Softcult

CityFolk – Lansdowne Park – Ottawa

Review and Photos by Cole Lewis Photography of The Photo Roadies (www.thephotoroadies.ca)

City Folk Day One started with a blast of energy. The main stage was electrified by
three phenomenal female- fronted bands, making the evening a celebration of talent, empowerment, and pure rock ‘n’ roll bliss.

Each band brought their own unique flavor to the stage, creating a rich tapestry of
sound and emotion that resonated deeply with the audience. Pater and Softcult kicked off the night with sets that really set the stage for the festival grounds to come alive with energy. Hawksley Workman also made a strong impression on the Fasken Stage, where the venue was packed and full of life. Headlining the night were The Beaches, a band whose reputation precedes them with their electrifying live performances and infectious energy. They delivered a set that was both exhilarating and emotionally charged, showcasing their unique blend of indie rock
and glam-infused pop. Their lead vocalist commanded the stage with confidence and charisma, and the other members of the band brought equal talent to the performance. As always, The Beaches captivated the crowd and delivered an amazing start to the night.
