Elephants And Stars Release New Single The Ceiling
Elephants and Stars, a new rock band from the Golden Horseshoe, featuring members from Hamilton to Toronto, have recently released the soaring new track “The Ceiling”, the very first single from their first full length album, produced by legendary rocker Ian Blurton, coming early 2025.
“‘The Ceiling’, a high-energy riff-rock track capturing the protagonist’s intense unraveling during a panic attack, serves as the lead single from Elephants and Stars’ upcoming album,Under The Earth and Above Heaven. Produced by Ian Blurton, this first full-length offering follows a string of critically acclaimed EPs and showcases the raw, powerful sound that has defined the band’s identity.”

Elephants and Stars Frotman
Elephants and Stars are real. Much like both real elephants and the stars above us, they are mature. They make music because they have to and record their records in an old school studio with a seasoned producer (the legendary rocker Ian Blurton).
These are not kids who are going to jump into a van, crossing the province opening for a myriad of less than impressive bar bands and hoping to maybe pocket $50 in gas money. They would rather keep getting invited to play a sold out show with the likes of Television’s Richard Lloyd, Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace or indie legends Lowest of the Low, whose audience are willing to both listen and understand music that digs under the surface.
They spend their time in rehearsals and in the studio crafting rock songs with hooks and lyrics with a bite that might take more than one listen to fully appreciate.
