Snotty Nose Rez Kids @ Dundas Square (Photoset)

Snotty Nose Rez Kids performing at Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto as part of NXNE 2019. For me, this performance was definitely one of the highlights the festival. The Canadian First Nations hip hop duo consists of rappers Darren “Young D” Metz and Quinton “Yung Trybez” Nyce, both from the Haisla Nation. Snotty Nose Rez Kids have a sound that is completely their own and a live performance that is infectious, if you’ve never seen them live, I definitely recommend it. Watching them perform was exhilerating, hearing the sound of their songs and stories filling downtown Toronto was a beautiful moment and seeing the crowd throw their fists in the air with the Canadian duo was the cherry on top.
