List of Artists & Labels Directing Bandcamp Revenue to Black Lives Matter Organizations on june 5th

Today Bandcamp is waiving its revenue share, giving artists and record labels 100% of the profits and the music community is coming together to respond with support for justice, equality, and anti-racism. Below you’ll find a list of groups that have committed to giving their proceeds to Black Lives Matter groups, anti-racism organizations, and local bail funds.

Ba Da Bing

Ba Da Bing is donating earnings to Equality for Flatbush. The label is also doing a price match, “Where if people send us proof of giving at least $150 to a bunch of organizations we’ll be listing, we’ll send them the album of their choice as a gift.”

Barsuk

“Barsuk has pledged 100% of the money we receive from this Friday’s Bandcamp artist-support day to our artists. We are also planning on matching those funds with a donation to Campaign Zero, in addition to donations and action to support locally-focused Northwest antiracism groups working to address systemic racism and stop police brutality.”

Bayonet

All of the label’s share will go to Black Visions Collective and Reclaim the Block.

BingeNinja

BingeNinja will be donating record sales as well as merch sales to Reclaim the Block.

Bokhari

Bokhari Records will be giving 100% of its earnings from Friday’s sales to “Black Lives Matter causes.”

Bonny Doon

Detroit band Bonny Doon will be giving all Bandcamp proceeds from this week to Black Lives Matter Detroit.

Brutaz

Warsaw’s Brutaz crew is part of a coalition of Polish labels and artists (including experimental drummer Waclaw Zimpel, iconic techno label Recognition, producer VTSS, and the versatile electronic artist Earth Trax) donating tomorrow’s proceeds to a range of organizations including the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Black Lives Matter, Black Vision, and others.

Citrus City

“Starting Friday, 100% of digital & physical sales will be going towards several organizations and aids directly assisting black LGBTQ+ communities across the country like The Okra Project, Black Visions Collective, & The Transgender Cultural District. This will be for the next 2 weeks.”

Club Chai

This week, Bay Area label Club Chai will donate all label revenue to Black-led LGBTQ+ organizations, including SNapCo, Black AIDS Institute, Trans Cultural District, and LGBTQ+ Freedom Fund.

“100% of everything we make is going to two New Orleans based Black & Brown owned and organized nonprofits: TAKE ’EM DOWN NOLA and Innocence Project New Orleans.”

Crafted Sounds

“We will be donating proceeds to bail funds and organizations near our artists in Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Philadelphia through the weekend of Bandcamp day (June 5 – June 7). 100% digital revenue and 25% of physical revenue will be donated during that time.”

Dais is donating 100% of sales to the following funds: National Bailout Fund, Reclaim The Block, NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund, The Bail Project, Black Visions Collective MN, and Black Lives Matter.

This week, Dark Entries will donate all label revenue to Black-led LGBTQ+ organizations, including SNapCo, Black AIDS Institute, Trans Cultural District, and LGBTQ+ Freedom Fund.

California’s Dome of Doom is donating all of its proceeds to Black Lives Matter via Act Blue.

Double Double Whammy is donating its proceeds to The Movement for Black Lives, and The Loveland Foundation.

“We’ll be donating Bandcamp’s share on Friday to the local Boys & Girls Club in Oxford, MS.”

Father/Daughter

Father/Daughter has pledged $1 from every merch sale going forward to BLM causes and will “continue to make donations to various bail funds on top of that.”

New York Haunted is the label of Dutch producer Drvg Cvltvre. The label is releasing a comp called #FUCKRACISM with proceeds going to George Floyd’s family. The label is directing Friday’s proceeds to Black Lives Matter.

Ninja Tune

The UK label will donate its share of Friday’s sales to the NAACP Legal Defence Fund.

Orindal

“Orindal will be donating its share of June 5 Bandcamp revenue to bail bonds funds & organizations supporting the protests. The artists’ shares will be delivered to the artists on June 6 so they can donate to their own preferred charities.”

Paradise of Bachelors

“We plan to match proceeds from our Bandcamp digital sales this Friday with donations to local bail funds and Black Lives Matter Global Network. Maybe other places too, depending on how much money we have to work with. We look forward to doing more on Juneteenth too. I’m furious.”

Los Angles label Terrible Records is donating proceeds from all Bandcamp sales to Black Lives Matter. In addition the label will have a t-shirt for sale, the profits from which will be donated to Black Lives Matter and the National Bail Out Fund.

Vanity Press

This week, Vanity Press will donate all label revenue to Black-led LGBTQ+ organizations, including SNapCo, Black AIDS Institute, Trans Cultural District, and LGBTQ+ Freedom Fund.

Whatever’s Clever

The roster of Brooklyn label Whatever’s Clever has agreed to split all sales this Friday with: Campaign Zero, Emergency Release Fund, and the Black Alliance for Just Immigration.
