Award-Winning Country Artist Matt Lang Announces New Single “All Night Longer”
2023 was another banner year for award-winning country artist Matt Lang. With over 50 shows performed across Canada, the release of his successful covers album “Moonlight Sessions”, the launch of “Moonlight” a spiced rum at SAQ, a Gold certification for his single “Getcha”, his debut performance at the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA), winning the “Willie” award for male performer of the year at the 2023 Quebec Country Gala, a Top 10 country radio hit with Tyler Joe Miller for their song “Never Met A Beer” and receiving the ADISQ silver ticket for his More tour tickets sales in Quebec.
With the release today of his new single “All Night Longer”, via Symphonic Distribution, all streaming platforms and to Canadian country radio, fans can expect his strongest body of work is yet to come. Produced by Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Tyler Joe Miller, David James), “All Night Longer” is a feel-good country song about having a special someone on your mind all day long and looking forward to spending the night with them, never wanting it to end. The song is from Matt’s highly anticipated forthcoming album, which is set to be released in May 2024.
Hailing from Maniwaki, QC, Lang journeyed to Nashville to record his first English-language album in early 2018. At that time, he didn’t speak English, yet the album that came as a result of that trip quickly shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart following its release in 2018. It included the singles “Love Me Some You” and “My Final Pour,” which have garnered over 10 million streams to date.
In September 2019, he continued to gain momentum after winning the national SiriusXM Top of the Country competition, three awards at Québec’s Country Gala, a SOCAN’s
Country Music Award, and received his first ADISQ nomination for English Albumof the Year. In June 2020, he released his second EP More, which had four singles reach the Top 20 at Canadian country radio, including his popular tracks “Getcha”and “In a Bar.” That same year, Lang received his first CCMA nomination in the Rising Star Category and an ADISQ nomination for Live Show of the Year.
Since then, he has performed hundreds of live shows to ever-growing audiences and is back on the road in Canada again, following his performances at the Boots and Buckle Festival in the UK and opening for Luke Combs at Festival d’Été de Québec. Most recently, Lang announced that he will be joining Aaron Pritchett on his 2024 cross-Canada Liquored Up Tour alongside Cory Marks. Matt and Cory also came together to feature on Aaron Pritchett’s single “Liquored Up”.
On May 9, Lang brings his large-scale country music show to Montreal to showcase his new album at MTELUS! Presented by Lasso Montréal and WKND 99.5 and WKND 91.9 and the pre-sale starts today with the general public on sale will be January 12 at 9:00 am local time.
