Windsor Indie-Rock Artist Stump Gladstone Releases New Single “The Wanderer”
Windsor indie-rock multi-instrumentalist, Stump Gladstone has just released “The Wanderer” – the 5th single off of his upcoming album ‘Origin Stories’. His strong focus on guitar technique, song writing and story telling offer a unique sound that flows through multiple genres; coalescing them with a unique and familiar baritone voicing. Although his voice has very different and distinct style, The Wanderer reminds me of the music of Canadian icon Neil Young, with a touch of Zeppelin. The storytelling draws you in, and Stump makes great use of harmonizing his own vocals adding layer after layer to the sonic scape over the course of the song to ebb and flow between the listeners ears, creating a series of highs and lows before the song ends.
Stump Gladstone has big things ahead, and he’s an artist you’ll want to keep an eye on for 2025! He’s been releasing new singles every couple weeks on average leading up the release of his 8 track album “Origin Stories” which will be coming very soon. For 2025 he is working on a tour in support of the new album as well as a documentary covering the journey! Give The Wanderer a listen and keep an ear out for more from Stump Gladstone coming soon!
