All Your Friends Fest has announced they will be returning to Burl’s Creek on June 28th & 29th, 2025! Could ‘All Your Friends Fest’ be the new Warped Tour? We think so! Hosted at Burl’s Creek, just 1.5 hours from Toronto, by the same organizers behind the wildly successful Boots & Hearts festival, ‘All Your Friends Fest’ transported attendees on a nostalgic emo time warp. With headliners Billy Talent (Friday) and Fall Out Boy (Saturday), the festival drew elder-emos from all corners, eager to relive the glory days of pop-punk and emo music.
The lineup was a dream come true, featuring dozens of beloved emo and pop-punk bands. On Friday, fans shed their business casual weekday attire and dug out their favorite band shirts from the back of their closets for the weekend. As they clocked out of their nine-to-fives and dropped the kids off with grandparents, you could feel the anticipation in the air as they arrived at the grounds. Many chose to camp out for the weekend at Burl’s Creek, while others came and went, soaking in as much nostalgia as possible.
The festival kicked off with electric performances from artists we’ve grown up with, alternating between two stages on the grounds. From morning till night, bands like Dashboard Confessional, All-American Rejects, Silverstein, Mayday Parade, Lights, Jimmy Eat World, and many others took the stage, each delivering powerful, passionate performances that felt like a homecoming. Night owls were treated to Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire spinning pop-punk DJ sets each night until the wee hours, keeping the party alive after the headliners.
Set against a beautifully hot and sunny weekend, rain made a poetic appearance during “Hey There Delilah” by Plain White T’s before the clouds parted to reveal the sunshine again. The energy was electric, with both fans and artists reminiscing about the days of Warped Tour. Phrases like “Let’s make this the new Warped Tour” and “This takes me back to Warped” echoed through the crowd, capturing the collective sentiment.
Pat Kordyback of Stereos even remarked during their main stage set that the weekend felt exactly like what Warped Tour was all about: artists and fans hanging out together, united by their love for the music. He wasn’t wrong. Everywhere you looked, you could spot artists like LØLØ , Stereos, Fefe Dobson, Mayday Parade, GOB, and The Maine mingling with the crowd, watching performances alongside the fans. The usual barriers between artists and their admirers seemed to dissolve, creating an atmosphere of accessibility and camaraderie that made the weekend truly special.
If this year’s festival is any indication, we may have found the spiritual successor to Warped Tour.
