The Winners of The 4th Annual Canadian Independent Music Video Awards Have Been Announced!
The winners of The 4th Annual Canadian Independent Music Video Awards have been announced! Last night, the 4th CIMVA’s concluded with a live streamed virtual awards show, with the one and only Ed The Sock of NewMusicNation.ca announcing the winners of this year’s categories. This was certainly the CIMVA’s biggest year yet, starting off with over 300 video submissions, the contest was viewed by over 120,000 Canadians from every corner of the country! This year’s contest also featured it’s biggest cash prize yet, with $1000 for the grand prize provided by Toronto Creatives and $100 for each category winner provided by Shannen Frost Photography. This years grand prize winner is also taking home a year’s worth of tea provided by Tea Squared, a cider gift pack provided by Crimson Cider Co., rehearsal time from D.C Music, a photography session with Shannen Frost Photography, 1 Month of digital advertising on Dropout Entertainment, 1 website feature w. paid promotion courtesy of Toronto Creatives and a custom made trophy! For the awards first three years, it was judged by the Dropout Entertainment team, but for the first year this year’s CIMVA’s was judged by a panel of music Canadian music experts, which included Louis Calabro of The Canadian Academy and Prism Prize, Rick Campanelli of Z103.5 FM, Christine Stevens & Christine Wiley of C To C Canadian Country Music Insider, CarolB of CIUT895FM and CFRU933FM, Richelle Umali of Penelope PR, Alex Huard of Release Day, Ben Chapman Smith & Gregg Sweetapple of Heavy NFLD, Nik Varlamov and Benjamin Gibson of Toronto Creatives and Dropout Entertainment, Shannen Frost, Baz Foye, Kieran Croy and Jesse Read of Dropout Entertainment.
