The Hillbirds performing at Gussapolooza 2023. The Hillbirds are an alternative pop rock band from Barrie, Ontario, with strong female vocals, reminiscent of Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow.

In 2017, Husband and wife team Nick and Nicole Duquette started performing as a duo while they lived in France. After returning to Ontario, they became friends with musicians from their church which helped form their 5-piece band.
The Hillbirds have had a great run so far including performances opening for Craig Cardiff and The Trews at Barrie’s 2020 NYE Downtown Countdown, The Algonquin Theatre (Huntsville) and other music festivals in Ontario.
