Sure Beats A Good Time – Justin Fancy (New Music Video + CD Release Event Hosted By Shaun Majumder)
Canadian Country recording artist Justin Fancy, from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, has just released a music video for the title track of his debut album, Sure Beats A Good Time, which came out on September 25.
Big Brother Canada (Season 7/2019) contestant and fellow Newfoundlander Samantha Picco, reprises her role as Fancy’s love interest in the new video. She appeared in his previous video for “Think About You”.
The release comes just ahead of Justin’s private, 75-person, invite-only record release event on Saturday, October 17th at the Glendenning Golf Club in St. John’s, with local singer/songwriter Chris Ryan opening the show. It will also be live-streamed online at https://www.facebook.com/justinfancymusic starting at 6:00pm EST/7:30pm NFLD. Native Newfoundlander Shaun Majumder (who also happens to be one of Justin’s favourite actors) will be the special guest host for the evening, so you know along with some great music, you’ll definitely get a few laughs out of the night.
“Because of Covid-19 I had to think outside the box on how I could pull off a great CD release show. I didn’t want to just do it online. I worked hard on this album and wanted to celebrate the release properly, but also needed to make it safe for my guests. I secured some amazing sponsors who helped cover the cost of the venue and the production, as well as 65 billboards across Newfoundland to promote the live stream.”
