Halifax’s TURBO Unleashes New Music Video “PissJugs & Rattlesnakes” From Latest Album “Broke & Ugly”

Canadian nitro‑rock hellraisers TURBO have dropped their brand‑new music video for “PissJugs & Rattlesnakes”, the fifth track from their latest full‑length album “Broke & Ugly.”

The new video captures everything that defines Turbo’s sound and spirit: raw energy, sleazy swagger, and a no‑apologies attitude forged from years of touring, partying, and living life at full throttle.

“PissJugs & Rattlesnakes” is a standout cut from “Broke & Ugly,” written with the title first and the lyrics second, a perfect reflection of Turbo’s instinct‑driven, riff‑first songwriting style. Loosely inspired by a crew of strippers vocalist/guitarist Evan Frizzle used to run with, the track is a gritty, tongue‑in‑cheek snapshot of wild nights, questionable decisions, and the characters who shaped the band’s early years.

Guitarist Lindsey Dicks penned the opening lead, kicking off what the band calls “the greasiest riff on the album.” The track has quickly become a fan favorite, complete with the band’s unofficial drinking rule: take a swig every time they yell “pissjugs.”

Turbo’s second full‑length album, “Broke & Ugly,” is a raw, high‑energy snapshot of the band’s real‑life chaos, blending aggressive riffs, tight musicianship, and lyrics fueled by partying, heartbreak, road‑life exhaustion, and unapologetic self‑reflection. Standout tracks range from the heavy, triumphant “Ruthless Forever” to the beer‑soaked anthem “Ignite the Night,” the breakup‑driven “No Savior,” and the punk‑edged “Scorpio Garbage Fire.” The album slows only briefly with “Nothing to Nowhere” before roaring back with the snarky title track and the thrashy tour‑inspired closer “Down in Mexico.” It’s gritty, honest, and unmistakably Turbo.
