Canadian country singer-songwriter Owen Riegling brought his In The Feeling Tour to HISTORY Ottawa on Wednesday night, with opener Will Terry getting the evening underway.
Signed to Universal Music Canada and Big Loud Records, Riegling has built his career withsingles including “Old Dirt Roads,” “Moonshines,” “Taillight This Town” and “Love Hate Love.” His 2024 debut album, Bruce County, introduced the small town roots that remain central to his songwriting.
Opening with “Taillight This Town,” Riegling set the evening in motion. A standout moment came when he waded into the middle of the crowd to sing, bringing the performance directly to the fans and giving the night a personal touch.
He returned for an encore of “Old Dirt Roads,” closing the evening with a fitting nod to those roots. But the lasting image was Riegling surrounded by his audience, sharing his music shoulder to shoulder with the people who came to hear it.
Opening the evening was Will Terry, a Rome, Georgia native now based in Nashville, whose country songwriting offered Ottawa fans an introduction to another emerging artist.
