54.40 Live @ Flato Academy Theatre

West Coast Band Comes East!
54.40, a longtime musical fixture on the Canadian scene, recently came to Ontario on a short concert run. For those unfamiliar with alternative rockers 54.40, their beginnings go back to the late 1970’s and became hugely successful in mainstream media and in performances in the late 1980’s and into the 1990’s.
54.40 have had four platinum albums, one gold album and have been nominated eight times for Canada’s Juno Award. They are best known for hit singles such as “I Go Blind”, “Baby Ran”, “One Day In Your Life”, “Nice To Luv You”, “She La” and “Ocean Pearl”. This rockin’ quartet from British Columbia has been inducted into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame. “I Go Blind” was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2021. 54.40 was the first act to sign with El Mocambo Records in 2017 operated by club owner, merchant banker and Dragon Den personality, Michael Wekerle.
Currently the band is out touring, playing their hits to packed houses, and featuring selections from the recent release “West Coast Band”.
