Line Spike Frontenac Festival 2025

Just north of Kingston, the Canada Day party gets started June 28 and 29 with the inaugural edition of the Line Spike Frontenac Festival. The Roadies caught up with the event organizer in a big field off Harrowsmith Road where this all Canadian music lineup can only be described as amazing.

Festival organizer for Line Spike Frontenac is Jeremy Campbell with a background of working on major events from the Invictus Games to major movies with the likes of Mel Gibson. Campbell decided after a major health scare to move back to his roots, produce a music event worth remembering, and give something back to the community.

In the early planning stages, Campbell had been flirting with some international flavours such as Grand Funk Railroad and Lynyrd Skynyrd but when international politics turned the world upside down with talks of tariffs, Line Spike Frontenac made a major planning decision to turn the first major music festival in Sydenham to an all Canadian event.  And what a line up!!

With over 3500 advance tickets already sold, Jeremy is hoping that the weather gods work in his favour to at least double that amount or more to watch entertainers such as Burton Cummings, Walk Off The Earth, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alan Frew from “Glass Tiger”, Tom Green , along with up and coming artists, Kelsi Mayne and Madison Galloway, plus local favourites Kasador and Luscious.

And while a huge crowd is expected for this first time event and making money is important to do it again in 2026, Jeremy intends that some revenue from Line Spike Frontenac will be returned to the community. Beginning with his alma mater at Sydenham High School, plans are to develop an Arts Scholarship. Fellow former student, Xray MacRae, graduated from Sydenham High, went on to become owner of Toronto’s  legendary Horseshoe Tavern, and helped launch the music careers of Amanda Marshall, The Tragically Hip, and The Trews.  In addition, Line Spike Frontenac hopes to help curb the rising food needs in the area supporting local food banks in south and rural Frontenac plus New Leaf Link that assists individuals with mobility issues.

In the photo below is where the stage is going to get placed. The grass gets cut next week so you won’t get lost finding your friends, or your way around this festival layout.

Look who’s coming to Line Spike Frontenac 2025!

Burton Cummings – formerly of The Guess Who, one of the first Canadian bands to break south of the border, and an iconic artist with a wealth of classics we all know and love.

Walk Off The Earth – their videos make people wanna dance! Featuring a mix of original and classic reinterpretations. New video: Breaking My Heart

Chantal Kreviazuk – Kreviazuk’s blend of pop and rock, often infused with piano-driven melodies, resonates with a wide audience.

Alan Frew of Glass Tiger in 80’s Rewind – you can’t get more Canadian than this, every song they play – you heard on the radio with a brand new release: Free To Be Strong And Free

Kelsi Mayne – Actress/singer and nurse with a powerful and beautiful voice that brings an energetic live show to many of her performances including Boots and Hearts.

About Madison Galloway: Jeremy first saw Madison perform about 10 years ago playing at the Toronto Ski Show for the Blue Mountain booth.  Her energy blew me away and I kept tabs on her career and have hired her in the past to play for smaller audiences then Line Spike.  Her and Kelsi Mayne I see as two of Canada’s hardest working women in showbiz.

Jeremy’s thoughts on Kasador:  I saw them play in Kingston Penitentiary for the United Way’s “Rock the Big House” concert, opening for Tom Cochrane, Pursuit of Happiness, The Trews, Headstones, Paul Langlois and more… they are a local Kingston band and we are the final stop of their Cross Canada tour this year.

Luscious – A Kingston favourite with a blonde bombshell in Brielle Leblanc fronting an accomplished band now on the festival circuit all over Ontario. Brand new video just released – Mine
