Teddy’s Atlas dropped a new lyric video and you don’t want to miss it!
Teddy’s Atlas released a new lyric video for their song ‘The Feeling’ and if you hadn’t checked out the track already this is the perfect time to. The lyric video pairs perfectly with the grimey punk rock track that this trio brought and it’ll have you putting the video on repeat.
Local Guelph, ON band Teddy’s Atlas is a punk rock trio who’s sound best resembles that of the 90’s skate punk scene that we all know and love. The crashing drums mixed with the hazy strings and the unmatched emotion filled vocals bring me right to that period of music and I love every moment of it. With Chris Sharland on vocals and guitar, Trevor Cooke on bass and Adam Brown on drums you’re bound to be head banging.
The track itself comes from their debut EP ‘Laugh! Cry! Die!’ which can be found on all streaming services and details a very relatable tale of youth filled with the feelings of nostalgia, daily dread and angst that we all felt at one time or another. The lyrics are all super relatable, to the point where I myself remember those feelings and despite all of us knowing them they are still incredibly specific and unique.
The lyric video directed by Josh Sleight is great from beginning to end and totally encapsulates the distinct feelings the emotional lyrics evoke. It creates a great visualization of the lyrics and despite just being a lyric video it still manages to keep you invested and interested and does nothing but add to the aesthetic of the track.
Overall the video and the song were both super dope and I highly suggest checking both of them out. The relatable lyrics mixed with the hard instrumental backings made for a great song and the video pairs itself perfectly.
