The Bronson Centre came alive on March 18th with an evening that balanced atmosphere, discovery, and electrifying performance, led by an engaging opener and a headliner who knew exactly how to command the room.
Softcult, the twin duo, opened the night with a softer, more atmospheric introduction that drew the audience in. Their set began with a gentle touch, but it didn’t stay there for long. As the setlist progressed, the energy steadily built into something far more intense and immersive. Their blend of smooth guitar melodies and heavier, emotionally charged moments created a dynamic listening experience. Mercedes’ vocal performance stood out in particular; her range was impressive, and her stamina never wavered. Musical interludes filled with layered guitar riffs gave the performance a rich texture, and by the end, it was clear many in the crowd had discovered something new. The band left a lasting impression, capped off by Mercedes taking time to sign setlists for fans, a personal touch that didn’t go unnoticed.

By the time Lights took the stage, the venue was packed, buzzing with anticipation. With VIP passes scattered throughout the crowd and the added excitement of signed setlist giveaways, there was already a sense that the night was something special. Lights burst onto the stage with immediate energy and never let it dip. From start to finish, she maintained a vibrant, infectious presence that had the entire room engaged. Lights is currently on tour promoting her latest release, “A6 Extended” with the new video single – “Come Get Your Girl”

Her connection with the audience was a defining part of the performance. She encouraged the crowd to dance, sing, and fully immerse themselves in the moment, creating an atmosphere that felt both electric and intimate. Between songs, she carved out genuine moments of interaction that deepened that connection even further. Vocally, she delivered with confidence and precision, showcasing both technical skill and emotional resonance. It’s easy to see why the venue was filled to capacity; her performance wasn’t just something to watch, but something to experience.

Overall, the night at the Bronson Centre was a compelling blend of rising artistry and seasoned showmanship, leaving concertgoers energized, connected, and already looking forward to the next show.
