Sleeping With Sirens Take Over Ottawa on Halloween Night

Halloween night at HISTORY Ottawa was a little different this year, as Sleeping With Sirens brought their signature post-hardcore sound to a crowd dressed in everything from Halloween costumes and cosplay to classic emo-inspired outfits. With fans ready for a night of heavy music and nostalgia, the atmosphere couldn’t have been more fitting.

Getting things started was Shyeye, bringing their own energy to the stage and warming up the Halloween crowd. Next up was Rain City Drive, who kept things moving with their blend of melodic rock, powerful vocals, and catchy hooks, setting the stage for the night’s headliners.

When Sleeping With Sirens finally took the stage, the energy in the room reached another level. Frontman Kellin Quinn led the charge with his unmistakable high-pitched vocals, backed by the band’s heavy guitar riffs and driving drums. The crowd was right there with them, singing along and matching the intensity throughout the performance.

There was something especially fitting about seeing Sleeping With Sirens perform on Halloween. Between the costumes, the emo fashion, and fans coming together over music they’ve grown up listening to, the evening felt like more than just another concert. It was a chance for longtime fans to relive some of their favourite songs while newer listeners experienced the band live.

From the opening acts to the final moments of the headlining set, HISTORY Ottawa was filled with energy, costumes, and plenty of voices singing along.

For a band that has been part of the alternative music scene for over a decade, Sleeping With Sirens proved that their music still brings people together, and Halloween made the night that much more memorable.
