Bon Villan @ The Piston (Photset)
Bon Villan played an amazing set at the Piston in celebration of their second music video “All The Way”. The genre bending trio put on an amazing show, often switching between either multiple instruments and/or vocals but never missing a beat, Bon Villan sure knows how to get a place moving! For an extra suprise for their fans, the band was joined on stage by Monowhales Sally Shaar (who is featured in the video) for a live performance of the single! Check out our photos from the set and scroll down to watch their new video “All The Way”!
Toronto-based indie electronic band Bon Villan is on the rise. The trio consisting of members Julien Powell, Jared Parker, and Alex Hanes gained a substantial social media following after the release of their singles “Outta Cash” and “When I Came Up.” The band just released their single and video for “All the Way Out.” This is the first single for the trio since the release of their self titled EP in 2018.
“All the Way Out” embraces an electronic sound as well as a notable hook that will no doubt be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. The video for “All the Way Out” promotes the fun and upbeat vibe the song gives off by picturing an abundance of bright visuals and care free partiers, you can also catch cameos from members of other local bands such as Monowhales. The band celebrated the release with a show at The Piston in Toronto on April 11th with special guest Most People and Rachel Romu. Plan for another single from Bon VIllan in June and an album in 2020.
