Final Day To Apply For Indie Week 2026

Final Day To Apply For Indie Week 2026

CALLING ALL CANADIAN AND INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS, BANDS, AND MUSICIANS

Today is the last day to apply for Indie Week 2026 Music Festival & Conference, taking place in Ottawa from Nov 12-14th! Applications are open to Canadian and international artists. Submissions close at Midnight on July 31st so if you’re looking to be a part of this incredible festival and you haven’t already applied now’s the time!

Indie Week is looking for fresh voices, bold sounds, strong live performances, and artists who are ready for new opportunities. Whether you are an emerging artist or an established act building your next market, INDIE WEEK gives you a platform to showcase in front of music fans, industry professionals, bookers, and delegates.

GENRE ELIGIBILITY – Indie Week accepts most contemporary original music genres. At this time, they are not looking for classical, traditional jazz, children’s music, or musical theatre submissions.

Please note: INDIE WEEK prioritizes original music. Cover bands, tribute acts, and primarily non-original projects are not the right fit for this application.

INDIE WEEK is both a music festival for fans and a showcase for invited Canadian and international industry delegates who are looking for artists to book for their festivals, venues, and events.

Artists will also have opportunities to meet participating bookers online through DIT, our global music community at http://ditcommunity.com, and in person during the INDIE WEEK conference.

In 2026, artists connected through our festival performed at Summerfest in the USA, Capital Moto Week, Porão do Rock, and CEP in Brazil, along with receiving 28 additional bookings at festivals and events across Ontario.

If you have a musical act ready to connect with audiences, build industry relationships, and take the next step, they want to hear from you!
