Indie Rock Band Mountain Head Release Infectious New Single “Shade”
If you’re a fan of Georgetown’s psychedelic indie rock duo Mountain Head these are exciting times! Last weekend the band both won Best Indie Music Video of The Year at The 3rd Annual CIMVA’s and released their infectious new single “Shade”!
Shade was written on the streets of Miami. Mountain Head landed in Miami the day the Wu Tang Clan shared their music across all of their platforms. A night on the city seemed like the proper thing to do. Somewhere between South Beach and Little Haiti one of the brothers started beatboxing and the other mouthing a melody. Laughing, they pulled out their phones and recorded a voice note. Upon returning to the studio Shade was born. The song is gritty, dangerous and full of vibe. It asks the question: Who you gonna call when you’re back up in it.
The Hannah brothers are experts at writing songs that you’ll find yourself happily lost inside, and this new single is no exception. The new track is sure to get your head bobbing, featuring groovy drums and bass, psychedlic guitar riffs and those classic Mountain Head vocals, known for stealing a head or two.
