Independent Montreal Artist JACE Carrillo Releases New Music Video About Falling Out of Love, “Espacio-Tiempo”
Unmistakably original and refreshingly resonant, JACE Carrillo is a Contemporary Latin Pop artist who challenges the storylines and sounds of one of the biggest genres in music today. Merging the rhythms of the early 2000’s with a modern Latin flare, Carrillo has masterfully constructed a sound with a truly global appeal. With over one million streams across platforms, the multi-award winning artist has made a distinctive mark on Latin music in Canada after immigrating to Montreal in 2015. Just last year, Carrillo took home the JUNO-equivalent Venezuelan Pepsi Music Award for Best Electronic Music Video, and his recently released sophomore album, “Phenomena” has received critical acclaim across the country. His music is currently spinning on radio stations across the country, including reaching #1 on The Beat 92.5 – Montreal’s top hit music station. Carrillo was also featured in CBC’s “Songs You Need To Hear” series and Searchlight competition, currently sitting at #4 on Shazam’s Montreal charts, and #89 in Canada. He has appeared on Global Montreal and CBC Television, and his music has been making waves across Latin America as well, with features in some of the most prominent music publications on the continent including Billboard Argentina. Carrillo’s latest single, “Espacio-Tiempo”, is a melodic journey of self-discovery in which the artist admits to himself that he has fallen out of love with a partner and in love with someone else.
