Coheed and Cambria brought their unique blend of progressive rock, post-hardcore, and arena-sized hooks to a packed Hard Rock Live Ottawa on Tuesday night, delivering a performance that balanced technical brilliance with genuine emotion. With special guest Cevilain opening the evening, the New York quartet proved once again why they remain one of the most respected live bands in modern rock.

The setlist offered something for every era of Coheed’s career, mixing newer
material with fan favourites. Early highlights included “The Running Free,” “Searching for Tomorrow,” and “Shoulders,” before the band dug into classics like “A Favor House Atlantic.”

Nearly twenty-five years into their career, Coheed and Cambria continue to evolve while staying
true to the sound that made them stand out. Their Hard Rock Live Ottawa performance showcased a band still operating at the top of its game-technically flawless,
emotionally engaging, and capable of turning intricate progressive rock into an unforgettable live experience.

Opening the show Ottawa’s own Cevilain showed why they are a quickly rising go-to rock act.
The band has built a reputation on immersive concept releases and compelling, high-energy
performances that pull the listeners into their world.
