Danny Dymond Releases New Single & Music Video “What Do You Want”, Co-Written By Velvet Code
Canadian Electro-pop artist Danny Dymond teamed up with Velvet Code to release a new music video for his new club banger “What Do You Want”. With the pandemic restrictions lifting and the light at the end of the tunnel growing closer, “What Do You Want” is a wonderfully uplifting anthem celebrating freedom and pride. The energetic music video was shot at a number of locations in Hamilton, keeping you on your toes until the end and featuring a visual mix of dancers, dungeons, classic cars, trippy forests, smoke bombs and more. Directed by Paul Maxwell, who’s previously directed videos from bands like Walk Off The Earth, the video resembles a psychedelic dream sequence, signifying the strange, catatonic state we have all been in over the last year of quarantine. Click below to give it a watch! And keep an eye out for a video interview with Danny coming soon to Dropout!
What Do You Want was co-written by So Fierce Music founder/producer Velvet Code (who has produced official remixes for artists like Lady Gaga recorded at The Orange Lounge in Toronto (Justin Bieber/The Weeknd), the cathartic release marries elements of old-school Robyn-esque euro-pop with a more modern, darker style of dance-pop vibe similar to artists like Dua Lipa.
