A$$holes Release New Music Video For “IGAA”
The new DIY project A55hols, consisting of BingeNinja’s Shanne Burrow and Kyle Anders Koloszar have recently released a new music video for their single “IGAA”. The video was shot by Steven Sandhu of zmudafilms and features a continuous shot of Shane in the middle of a domestic dispute. Or atleast I think it’s Shane, it could be a statue as he doesn’t move, blink or show a single emotion throughout the entirety the video. It’s a simple visual, but the juxtoposition of complete unemotional stillness surrounded by the chaos the your environment speaks volumes and leaves the viewer to fill in the story and reasoning in their own imaginations, which makes for a cool art piece in itself. The song itself features an immersively distorted and chaotic electronic track, reminiscent of Kanye West’s “I Am A God”, with a distorted vocal delivery by Burrow featuring lyrics about an attitude towards a relationship between two people heading south “You envision a long and strong bond, a pawn, a Don Juan, a con to string along.
